WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM SAMANA YOGA?
Welcome to Samana Yoga, a place where yoga and community collide in a beautiful explosion of friendship and connection! Our team of talented yogis and teachers will wrap you up in a cozy cocoon of good vibes and make you feel right at home. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a fresh-faced newbie, our yoga classes are designed for every body.

DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
Yes. All bookings must be made online via our website or our FIT BY WIX App. The App is much easier.
Then you are asked to sign a liability waiver form & you are then sent a confirmation email & a booking reminder. If you don't get a booking confirmation email it means you haven't booked.
Staff members cannot book you in or reserve spots for you.

I'M A BEGINNER -WHAT CLASSES SHOULD I START WITH?
When you are starting out we recommend a gentle flow, slow flow, restorative or yin class. There are plenty to choose from.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
-wear comfy clothes
- for all restorative, yin & reformer SOCKS are compulsory!
-bring your own mat if you have one. If you don't have a yoga mat you can use ours but they must be wiped clean afterwards.
-bring a water bottle.

WHAT IS SAMANA YOGA STUDIO ETTIQUETTE?
-Arrive early, doors open 10-15 minutes prior to class, so please ensure you arrive with enough time to set up. Doors are locked once the class commences. We DO NOT accept late arrivals out of respect for other students.
-Check in at reception.
-Please remove your shoes as you enter and place them under the bench in reception. If you have to use the toilet before or after class shoes remain off.
-If you have to bring your phone (we prefer if you leave it at home or in the car) please turn your phone off or place on aero plane mode.
-Please commit to the practice for the entire class. If you need a break during the practice, take child’s pose or lie down.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You have 4 hrs prior to beginning of class to cancel in the app.
Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has the same chance to practice. If you cannot attend the class you have booked, please consider your fellow community and cancel as soon as possible.
If you don't cancel in time Our 5 & 10 Session Passes will forfeit a pass. There is currently no charge to membership holders but repeat offenders will be made aware.

HOW DO WAITLISTS WORK?
If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If a space becomes available, an email will automatically go to your email (sometimes it may land in your spam, double check there). Our cancellation policy still applies so it is important to cancel if you can no longer attend and we ask you remove yourself from the waitlist to give another Yogi an opportunity to practice.

WHAT IS YOUR EVENT/WORKSHOP POLICY?
We have a 48hour cancellation policy for all events and workshops, bookings cancelled outside of this time are non-refundable.

CAN I PAUSE MY MEMBERSHIP & HOW?
You can email us at kirsteen@samanayoga.com.au to pause your membership. You can pause your membership for up to 2 weeks minimum & for a maximum of 6 weeks.
3 month membership = 1 pause
6 month membership = 2 pause
12 month membership = 3 pause

CAN I EXTEND MY MEMBERSHIP?
NO. Extensions are not possible. We have very generous terms already so memberships or 5 & 10 class passes cannot be extended.

ARE PASSES TRANSFERRABLE?
5 & 10 class passes are transferrable in that YOU can book for more than one person. Memberships are not transferrable or refundable.

IS IT SAFE TO PRACTICE WHEN PREGNANT?
Absolutely!! We've got you covered, Mama! Our yoga classes are a hit with mommies-to-be, and while we don't have specific prenatal classes, many of our classes are perfect for you. We suggest giving yin, restorative, gentle flow & slow flow a go for a more relaxed vibe.
Remember, it's always a good idea to check with your doc first before getting your yoga on. Safety first,
always!

CLASS CANCELATIONS
We will endeavor to always runs classes but please understand that if we only have one or two people booked we may choose to cancel the class. People on memberships won't be affected and people with class passes will have the pass credited back to their account if we cancel.

COMPLAINTS
If you do have an issue please do NOT discuss this with the teacher on duty. I want our teachers to also be in a safe space where they are not put under pressure if you have an issue.
