Meet The Team

Samana Yoga Studio Founder & Owner, Senior Teacher , Sound Healer & Reiki Practioner
Kirsteen Warrington
My personal yoga practice began over 25 years ago and has evolved into a deep love of yoga’s philosophy, breath-centred movement, and spiritual foundations.
I am trained in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya through his son TKV Desikachar, a tradition that emphasises the relationship between breath and body. This connection forms the foundation of my teaching and is woven through every class I offer.
I believe yoga should support you both physically and mentally, and that there is a suitable practice for every body. My approach is adaptive, inclusive, and grounded in meeting each student where they are.
I have completed over 1000 hours of training in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Qi Gong, Restorative Yoga, and Mat and Reformer Pilates. I am also a registered Meditation Teacher, Sound Healer, and Shamballa Reiki Practitioner.
What inspires me most is witnessing the transformation of my students — not only in strength and mobility, but in awareness, presence, and connection to self.

Yoga Teacher
Marie-Eve Berge
Hi, I'm Marie,
I first experienced meditation as a young child with my mum and then discovered yoga in my early twenties.

Through yoga, I found a way to connect the body and mind within the same practice. My fascination for exploring the inner self has continued to grow ever since.

Trained in India in the ancestral Hatha tradition, my teaching incorporates a dynamic Vinyasa twist as well as peaceful Yin postures. My down-to-earth approach and the philosophical insights I weave through my classes ensures my classes will keep resonating within you long after you step off the mat. Mindfulness and meditation are the key elements I will use to guide you through your own self-discovery.

Yoga teacher
Alice Kuenzer
Alice offers thoughtful practices that explore the space between effort and ease, blending strong vinyasa with moments of stillness.
Her teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga isn’t about pushing forward, but about learning how to arrive, again and again. With an emphasis on embodied awareness and nervous system regulation, she creates inclusive spaces where students are invited to move with intention, listen inward, and arrive exactly as they are.
Alice began her yoga practice in 2012, returning to the mat again and again over the years before completing her 250-hour teacher training in 2024. With over 500 hours of training - including sequencing and cueing workshops, trauma-informed yoga training, and a 150-hour Yin and Yoga Nidra training - her studies continue to inform a thoughtful, embodied approach to teaching.
